Job Description - This position is 100% Remote Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and execute test strategies for APIs and web applications. Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API and UI testing. Establish and enforce best practices for software testing, including test planning, execution, and defect tracking. Collaborate with development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and early detection of defects. Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing into the development workflow. Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve product quality. Stay updated on the latest testing tools, trends, and methodologies to enhance QA processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
  • Strong experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, PyTest, or Playwright.
  • Solid knowledge of programming languages such as Go, Rust, JavaScript, or Python for test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like K6, JMeter or Gatling.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a CI/CD environment.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools like Jira, Allure, or similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with security testing and best practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with contract testing using tools like Pact.
