QA supervisor is a seasonal employee in the quality control department. This role is a critical member to our operations team and is responsible to assist the quality assurance manager in the planning, implementation, and oversight of all quality assurance and quality control-related functions in all phases of plant operations. Provide the leadership to guide the manufacturing team in the development, maintenance, and improvement of all quality systems. To include: final inspection, in-process controls, supplier quality assurance, systems auditing, product testing, finished goods audit. Will measure and report quality performance. Ensure conformity to engineering and quality standards in compliance with sanitary, GMP (Good manufacturing practices), Federal, State, and local food protection standards, and Classic Salads programs. This position has direct responsibility for ensuring all work activities under its span of control are performed with attention to the highest standards of food quality, safe processes, and compliance with all appropriate legal requirements.
