About The Position

The QA Tech II, Floater position at the Manawa location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
Important Details: Testing and qualify ingredients, premixes, blends, and finished products Documenting results Identifying quality issues and placing product on hold Inspecting bay and area washes and releasing for use Maintaining retention samples for future reference when needed Training on multiple lab benches, to assist with coverage as needed This is a full-time permanent role starting at $26.81/hour for the following positions: Core hours are 12 hours days, which operates from 5am-5pm, on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, Yellow Days. Hours may vary based on business need.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
• Experience in a QA role or in food production
• High attention to detail
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
