About the role The QC Analyst will conduct sampling and/or testing of incoming materials, finished product, micro, and/or participate in the additional support activities to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies’ requirements and company standards. Conduct checking and/or release of incoming materials, finished product, and micro testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s of Science in a science related field OR an Associate’s Degree (preferred in a science related field but not required) with 4 years of experience in regulated GMP environment OR a High School diploma and 7 years of experience in regulated GMP environment.
  • Related experience should be in a similar regulated environment, laboratory setting or GMP environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree or higher in Science related field or study is preferred
  • Degree focus in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or Forensics is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develops knowledge of functional area policies and procedures, and performs routine analytical testing and/or sampling functions in at least one QC laboratory.
  • Develops an understanding of applicable, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements, laboratory processes and procedures, utilization of good documentation practices (GDPs) and other regulatory authority requirements.
  • Maintains all training requirements for assigned tasks.
  • Develops operational proficiency using analytical techniques and instrumentation to support sampling and/or testing for applicable products and incoming materials.
  • Works independently and/or in a team environment to meet or exceed established objectives, applicable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Quality Performance Indicators (QPIs).
  • Understands established internal and external customer expectations and maintains effective communication pathways.
  • Contributes to projects as assigned and participates in continuous improvement efforts.
