About The Position

Requirements

A&P License required
5 years heavy commercial aircraft maintenance experience
Minimum of 2 years inspection experience
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

Assist and direct all personnel assigned to his/her crew.
Review incoming aircraft maintenance logs for items of work required to be accomplished at the Repair Station.
Procure required forms and work orders and transfer work to be accomplished to forms.
Assign and monitor inspectors' duties.
Survey all work in progress.
Accept or reject work accomplished for all items generated on the work order.
Ensure that shift inspectors give essential tie-in to their relief to ensure proper completion of work in progress.
Be responsible for entries in the aircraft maintenance flight logs, as well as the airworthiness release.
Check for proper installation, security, safety and workmanship.
Conduct pressure checks if necessary.
Check for proper material and fasteners.
Check for conformance to specification per repair, maintenance or other relevant manual or applicable engineering instruction approved by the FAA.
