About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may
be assigned.

1. Measures, records, analyzes and interprets testing data of product for
quality attributes in a production setting.
2. Actively participates, supports and performs training on the requirements
of SQF, GMP and HACCP programs.
3. Applying computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office:
Excel, Word, etc.
4. Follows & participates in plant housekeeping guidelines designed to ensure
a safe work environment.
5. Assists in the planning, implementation, documentation and reporting
results of routine sampling, trial runs, environmental testing, and
prepares test samples.
6. Prepares routine and special reports- including gathering, summarizing and
interpreting data. See lists of tasks.
7. Applies basic understanding of equipment and processes in resolving &
preventing Quality problems.
8. Advises production personnel of quality problems & works together with
Supervision to develop and implement corrective and preventive action
plans.
9. Assist in investigating customer complaints.
10. Maintain laboratory and equipment.
11. Performs other related duties and tasks as needed.
