About The Position

This role is responsible for auditing all processes related to the Device Care Center (DCC) Integrated Management System (IMS) regulatory programs. With a focus on QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health & Safety) activities, the Regulatory Auditor 1 will use regulatory standards, Assurant documentation, and their technical expertise to identify non-conformances and opportunities for improvement. The auditor will generate reports, issue Corrective Action Requests (CARs), and support IMS Compliance team initiatives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in QEHS auditing or compliance.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and management system standards.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple audits.
  • Experience auditing to one or more of the following standards: ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), RIOS v2016 (QEHS Management System), OHSAS 18001 or ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), R2v3

Nice To Haves

  • ASQ certifications (e.g., CQA, CQE).
  • Preferred certification as ISO Lead Auditor (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), or RIOS Lead Auditor.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • 2–3 years of auditing experience in an electronics-focused, light manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process Auditing Maintain and execute the documented annual audit schedule.
  • Audit established processes against certified standards.
  • Create and manage audit forms, records, reports, and visual data using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Maintain audit data in both hard copy and electronic formats.
  • Review audit findings with supervision and management.
  • Issue, monitor, and close CARs as needed.
  • Support Functions Assist the IMS Compliance Team with departmental tasks.
  • Support the DCC leadership team’s IMS Management Review program.
  • Provide QEHS expertise to the IMS Compliance team and DCC leadership.
  • Review and approve assigned Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) for IMS compliance.
  • Assist with R2 IMS audits as appropriate.
