About The Position

The purpose of this role is to support the Value Chain Integration team with training and project completion for the North American Business Unit.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree along with 1-3 years progressive engineering experience.
  • Documented training experience required.
  • Adobe Captivate software acumen required.
  • Proven experience with MS Office including Outlook, MS Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated exemplary writing and proofing skills with an excellent communication skill-set.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing or engineering experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support training schedule.
  • Create, maintain and complete training on template-set for training modules (e.g., 1-pager, eLearning, Microsoft Teams, in-person, etc.)
  • Use ISD (Instructional Systems Design) to deploy training materials, facilitate actual training and assess training needs for North American Business Unit.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy and quality of content.
  • File, organize, and maintain documents for internal and external customers.
  • Communicate with technical and manufacturing experts to gain understanding of products, including appropriate use and safety, to create complete and accurate documentation.
  • Have strong communication skill-set balancing expectation and empathy within the diverse working culture of Sumitomo.
  • Facilitate assigned VCI projects, create and maintain collaborative environment, meeting scheduling, workbook update accuracy and reporting of project progress to senior management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
