About The Position

Crafco, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Administrator at our New Corporate Office & Lab Facility in Phoenix, AZ. The Quality Administrator is a highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented Quality Administrator to join our Materials, Quality, and Technology department. In this role, the candidate will report to the Materials Quality Assurance Manager and will be responsible for maintaining accurate quality records, supporting the implementation of quality systems, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Proven experience in an administrative or quality support role, preferably in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
  • Strong organizational and document management skills.
  • Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English Required).
  • Experience with QMS software.
  • Understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and quality tools (e.g., Pareto, Fishbone, 5 WHY).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration of quality management system (QMS).
  • Assist with supplier quality documentation and communications, such as Certificate of Analysis (COAs) and Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
  • Provide administrative support to lab technicians and product engineers as requested.
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and certificates as requested.
  • Complete projects and tasks in a timely manner with clear communication and consistent efficiency.
  • Provide prompt and quality accuracy of certificate generation.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
  • Manage state DOT product approvals using QMS software.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality requirements are clearly communicated and consistently followed.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in preparing monthly quality performance reports.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma activities
  • Adhere to all company standards and safety regulations.
  • May take on additional tasks that align with the overall goals and responsibilities of the role.
