About The Position

GC Associates requires a Quality Assurance Supervisor to provide support to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for Health Services and Policy Oversight (HSP&O) and the Director, Defense Health Agency (DHA), in their missions of policy and program development and oversight of the Disability Evaluation System (DES), the Special Compensation for Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (SCAADL), the Physical Disability Board of Review, and the Compensation and Benefits Handbook.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, math, or science
• At least Five (5) years' related experience.
• Experience researching, developing, and recommending QAP strategies, metrics, compliance, and other program related activities.
• Familiarization with quality assurance policies, processes, and procedures

Responsibilities

• Analyze, research, propose changes to, develop, and monitor the Military Services' compliance with the DES Quality Assurance Program, DoDM 1332.18 Volume 3, to support accurate and consistent disability determinations for those in the DES.
• Recommend and provide consultancy on normalizing and integrating QAP throughout the DES
• Based on identification of a need to change or create new QAP procedures, provide a decision paper to the appropriate government lead that assesses and recommends an action plan.
• Upon approval, draft changes to existing or development of new QAP policy, operational direction, and oversight activities.
• Recommend performance measures, goals, and focus areas.
• Review, update, and facilitate distribution of all QAP related tools, to include checklists, sampling requirements, assessment procedures.
• Draft, gain approval of, and facilitate distribution of a QAP report on a quarterly basis on a date established by the government lead.
• Initiate engagement and communication with the Quality Assurance points of contacts and stakeholder customers within each military department.
