About The Position

How Does YOUR POSITION Help Us Work Toward OUR MISSION? Responsible for daily environmental swabs and ensures that the areas and equipment meet requirements for production startup and changeovers. Coordinate testing, including sensory analysis, and the release of both incoming and manufactured products. Handle non-conforming product, including rework corrections. Report any deviations or issues needing follow up to quality leadership. Handle all customer service requests including certificates of analysis (COAs) Interact with customers. Maintain cleanliness of the lab. Perform additional tasks as required i.e., sampling, product inspections, cleaning of quality hold area, inventory participation, special projects, etc. Will have a flexible work schedule with the ability to work both 1st and 2nd shifts as needed, including weekends (on a rotation). This position is a part of the operations team and is considered a support department for production. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Basic computer or data entry skills/experience (Knowledge of Microsoft Office encouraged, but not required)
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Basic Math skills
  • Great time management skills and the ability to multitask, sometimes on short notice
  • Good decision-making ability
  • Ability to work under a routine environment
  • Standing in a normal position for extended periods
  • Help each other learn and grow.
  • Understand and follow all safety and food safety expectations.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work with others, and independently as well as follow directions.
  • Show initiative and willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrate basic comprehension and math skills.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Bending, lifting, standing on a consistent basis during workday.
  • Potentially working in loud, dusty environment
