Job Description RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Communicate quality issues discovered to the other shifts. 2. Fill out the Quality Assurance Daily Reports. 3. Responsible for receiving shots from THM Molding. 4. Check the color using the Spectrophotometer. 5. Check the jobs on the Thermoform Molding floor and document findings. 6. Size parts and document findings. 7. Notify Process Techs and THM GL’s of defects and size problems found. NCMR’s may be issued when needed. 8. Weigh THM parts and document findings. 9. Perform a lid fit test and leak test if applicable. 10. Check the jobs on the Thermoform Printing floor and document findings. 11. Perform many facets of testing such as Rigidity and/or Haze & Clarity. 12. When samples are being ran in THM refer to the QA sample Procedures. 13. Route all papers to be filed into appropriate folders or files. 14. Any special tasks as assigned by QA Manager or Group Lead. 15. In the event of a tech absence the shift lead will cover their duties. 16. Authority to stop a press due to a safety issue. 17. Authority to place product on hold when product is suspect or nonconforming. 18. Authority to escalate NCMR’s up to Management level. 19. Authority to use Metal Detector to validate sample detection using sample cases. 20. Put continuous emphasis and clarity around EHS expectations. 21. Confirm and Reconfirm safety as the Number 1 value. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school education or equivalent. 2. Good color perception. 3. Self-motivated. 4. Good organizational skills. 5. Good math skills. 6. Good communication skills 7. Previous quality experience preferred. 8. Computer knowledge. 9. Must be able to lift 30lbs.
