Role Summary The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of controls algorithm, SCADA Integrations, and distributed systems. The Quality Assurance Lead will define and execute test strategies, validate system performance under normal and edge conditions, and work closely with engineers to ensure systems operate safely and effectively at scale.

Requirements

  • The candidate will have B.S. degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience testing applications developed in Python & C/C++.
  • 5+ years of experience in test automation using Python, with exposure to modern test frameworks and CI/CD integration.
  • 5+ years of experience in testing closed-loop controls algorithms.
  • Experience with Power System Market Applications.
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, Github/Bitbucket.
  • Experience with Industrial Protocols, Modbus TCP, OPC UA, MQTT, BACnet.
  • Experience in forming design & doing analysis of a system or new requirements.
  • Strong oral & written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little day-to-day guidance & achieve targeted goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience testing diverse COTS or Open-Source Software.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity considerations in OT environment.
  • Experience in high-performing programing such as Matlab, Simulink.
  • Experience with SCADA systems is a plus.
