About The Position
A Quality Assurance Nurse is responsible for assuring quality control of all health services provided by the Agency and for reviewing documentation for appropriateness of care.
Requirements
- Licensed RN in the State of Texas
- 5+ year’s required in Quality Assurance
- Experience in reviewing nurses’ notes for completeness, compliance with physicians’ orders, authorized services, regulations required
- Experience in reviewing admission packets required
- Experience required in reviewing all POC and recertification for:accuracy, order updates, frequency updates, goal updates, medication profiles review, format and wording, diagnoses update, C.N.A. care plan
- Conducts one-on-one in-services for documentation problems as needed
- Experience with hospice, home health or any experience in the healthcare field required
- Ability to travel
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Clean background and drug screen
