About The Position

Weckworth Manufacturing is seeking a highly motivated QA Assistant with a background in Industrial Engineering to support the Quality Director (QA). This role will focus on assisting with quality assurance processes, data analysis, and process improvement in our QA/Manufacturing. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. An employee assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by the Director.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and statistical methods.

Nice To Haves

Experience or coursework related to manufacturing, quality control or process improvement.
Familiarity with quality standards like AS9100, ISO 9001 or similar.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing, implementing and monitoring QA processes to ensure compliance with industry standards (AS9100)
Collect and analyze data from inspections and quality reports to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Assist in organizing quality control documents, including NCRs/CA’s and audit reports, ensuring timely and accurate recordkeeping.
Work with QA Director to develop, test and implement improvements in quality procedures and workflows.
Collaborate with engineering, production and QC teams to resolve quality issues and communicate changes in QA procedures.
Support internal and external audit preparations by compiling necessary documents and reviewing QA procedures.
Perform other related duties to support the QA Director and team.
