About The Position

Analyze fat samples using the core samples collected on all combos produced. Analyzing will take place in the MeatScan machine and/or MeatMaster. Accurate records need to be kept for each individual combo. Position may also include collecting AQL samples on combos, inspecting for and documenting any defects found.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, strong work ethic, decisive nature & high level of initiative
• Ability to prioritize tasks and ability to work with minimal supervision effectively
• Mathematical and problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal & organizational skills
• Experience preferred but not necessary, willing to train
• Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse workforce and upper management
• Must be 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US
• Must have the ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to lift 50lbs, stand, bend and walk 8-10 hrs. day
• Ability to work in cold or hot environment
• Obey safety rules and exercise caution in all work activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned QA testing or source testing on raw materials and supplies.
• Testing shall be accomplished in compliance with local, state federal and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain testing equipment in a sanitary condition.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records completing all required documentation of laboratory samples and testing.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspections of AQL audits
• Other duties as assigned.
• Must be flexible to work within production hours.
