Quality Assurance Tester
About The Position
The Quality Assurance Tester (QAT) is responsible for performing quality inspections on multiple cup lines. The QAT must follow all established testing procedures and guidelines and comply with all quality standards. QAT shall ensure quality product by not accepting defective materials into work center, not making defective products at work station, not passing defects to internal customers and by reporting potential quality issues and entering quality information into computer database. The QAT will complete quality and safety audits, cycle counts on inventory and visually product. The QAT must maintain the cleanliness and organization of the entire work area and assist other employees as necessary. All candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check. Must be able to work swing shift and graveyard. Overtime will be required, as necessary, including weekends. Graphic Packaging International operates on a 24 hour, 7 day/week basis.
