About The Position

The BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina, supporting Combat Mission Systems is seeking a Quality Auditor (Dimensional Inspector). In this role as a QA, you will work with a coordinate measurement machine (CMM) to inspect machined and/or welded parts to blueprint requirements for shipment to customer base. You'll also provide auditing support to shop floor operations. Note: This position is on the Weekend Shift, 5:00AM to 5:30PM, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Requirements

• Typically requires high school diploma or the equivalent.
• One year of related working experience.
• Experience with and/or knowledge of basic inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.
• Able to read, comprehend, and work to blueprints.
• Able to support on the Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM.

Nice To Haves

• Coordinate measurement machine (CMM) experience.
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge and experience.
• Weld inspection knowledge/experience.
• Faro Arm/Laser Tracker or Keyence experience.
