About The Position

The Quality Chemist Internship is responsible for performing the necessary inspection activities to ensure that products meet specified requirements in a chemical production facility. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Support departmental goals and objectives Test incoming raw materials and finished goods Conduct tests on in-process materials from compounding department Inspect and test purchased chemicals Inspect return goods as required Maintain good housekeeping practices in work areas Special projects, as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a chemical laboratory
• Strong computer skills including MS Office, SAP, etc.
• Basic understanding of chemical processing
• Proficient with laboratory and measuring & test equipment
• Basic understanding of departmental procedures and work instructions, etc.
