About The Position

The Quality Control Analyst I is responsible for executing quality control analytical tasks for one or more projects to support testing and release of oligonucleotides.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry or related field. BA/BS with 0+ years of related work experience.
• Understand laboratory SOPs
• Operate laboratory instruments
• Knowledge of undergraduate general chemistry
• Basic Word and Excel
• Perform algebraic and basic statistical calculations correctly
• Follow written procedures correctly
• Seek help & training on procedures as needed
• Rigorous attention to detail
• Concern for the safety and operation of others

Responsibilities

• Sample, test and release raw materials and finished products per established procedures
• Follow written protocols to package and label stability studies
• Perform routine analyses using techniques such as: Wet Chemistry, Karl Fischer, UV-Vis, FT-IR, Raman, LC, and GC
• Perform GDP peer review
• Maintain laboratory compliance
• Execute tasks to deliver project results on time
• Contribute to a positive work atmosphere
• Responsibilities may also include water system and environmental monitoring testing
