About The Position

This position is responsible for quality control of service delivery to the residents of Tacachale. The incumbent performs analytical assignments related to the Department’s quality assurance and Risk Management initiatives and projects serving individuals with developmental disabilities. The services must be consistent with applicable federal and state laws and regulations and Agency Policies and Procedures.

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must be willing to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency.
Must be proficient in the use of office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, and fax machines.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position frequently, but also occasionally move about within the campus of Tacachale to access other staff, buildings, and materials.
Must be able to speak and hear clearly.
Must be able to lift, carry, bend, crouch, reach overhead, stand, and walk on an occasional basis.
Must have manual dexterity (i.e., use of fingers, hands, and arms).

Responsibilities

Conduct quality improvement audits and validation probes and follow up accordingly as needed.
Provide feedback to facility directors, residential services and professional service providers.
Advise Risk Manager and stakeholders on monitoring programs, level of compliance with relevant standards, and effectiveness of corrective actions.
Complete special projects and special investigations as assigned by the Center Administrator and the Risk Manager.
Prepare concise, logical and complete written reports in the designated timeframe.
Monitor AHCA Tags and trends to assist residential facilities with preparation for licensing.
Serve as a designee for Workers’ Compensation in the absence of the Workers’ Compensation Coordinator or the Risk Manager.
Utilize various computer programs with tracking systems, spreadsheets, progress notes and other processes as needed.
Follow-up with new employees to identify training needs and challenges that lead to employee dissatisfaction, job failures, and separation.
Develop solutions to improve work force retention.
Attends and participates in committee meetings and training as assigned.
Performs other related duties as required.
