The Quality Control Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring our products meet defined standards before moving to the next stage of production or shipping. They perform visual inspections of incoming materials, in‑process assemblies, and final products to verify compliance with specifications, drawings, and documented procedures. Inspectors record findings, maintain quality data, escalate non‑conformances, and collaborate closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to prevent defects and uphold product integrity. Specific duties include: Inspecting incoming materials (PC boards, sheet metal, etc.) PC board and harness assemblies (many different types) Final assemblies (assembled power supplies) Final Inspection (after Test and Burn-in, before shipping) Inspect material orders on your daily assignment sheet, using BOMs and assembly drawings Enter Reject information into computer, print rework traveller and return order to production and/or do Move transactions as required to move order to next department Keep QA Supervisor informed of Quality issues Will certify in IPC-610 and 620 workmanship standards Other duties may be assigned as required Work hours are: Day Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm, Half-hour unpaid lunch, plus overtime when needed
