About The Position

We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector for Orlando International Airport (MCO) . This dynamic, hands-on inspector will be responsible for upholding quality standards and processes to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of airport facilities are maintained or exceed contractual obligations. This position will report to the Site Manager. Bilingual: English & Spanish required. A current and valid Florida driver’s license is required The expectation is to work weekends, days, nights and even holidays if required

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certification or associate degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in quality control in janitorial/facilities management or similar industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify areas for improvement.
  • Must have experience and knowledge in janitorial cleaning projects, i.e., floor care, strip and wax, carpet extraction, buffing, scrubbing, burnishing
  • Strong knowledge of janitorial cleaning equipment and ability to conduct inspections of the cleaning machines.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and provide feedback to employees.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports to track quality metrics
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Bilingual: English & Spanish required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of airport facilities to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and address quality concerns promptly.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and address any quality issues.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for growth within the quality control process.
  • Provide training, coaching, and feedback to employees to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Generate reports and distribute them to relevant personnel and clients.
  • Collaborate with management to develop strategies for increasing productivity and maintaining quality.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and ensure quality processes align with current standards.
  • Other duties as needed by company
