About The Position

About the Role We’re looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Quality Control Laboratory Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of our products through accurate testing of raw materials, in-process batches, finished goods, and customer samples. What You’ll Do Perform Quality Testing: Prepare and test samples of raw materials and finished products using approved work instructions and testing methods. Document Results: Record findings accurately in our LIMS system and Microsoft 365 tools. Troubleshoot Issues: Investigate non-standard or unexpected results, gather relevant data, and work with supervisors and engineers to determine next steps. Maintain Lab Equipment: Clean, inspect, and verify calibration of instruments; support equipment validation and calibration activities. Create Documentation: Generate Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and properly label finished goods and samples to meet identification and HAZCOM standards. Support Product Development: Assist with testing related to new materials, methods, and instrumentation for APQP and development projects. Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance processes and participate in improvement initiatives. Promote a Safe, Organized Lab: Maintain a clean, efficient work environment that supports good chemical hygiene and prevents contamination or safety issues. Support Additional Tasks: Complete other duties as assigned by the Lab Supervisor or Contract Tolling Manager. Demonstrated technical aptitude with great math and reading skills, proven written and verbal communication. Ability to learn operation of complicated laboratory equipment Highly detail oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding visual and physical inspection of product. Ability to concentrate and remain alert while working on highly repetitive tasks. Self-starter and able to work independently with little supervision and ability to operate efficiently on a team. Proficient with Microsoft software Products. The position requires an individual to stand for extended periods of time, frequently lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull carts up to 1,200 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Safety requirements for this position are safety glasses and steel-toed work boots. Must comply with all Federal, State, and Local, safety and environmental regulations, along with the Company’s quality, safety, and environmental policies. Requirements
