Job Summary: As a Quality Control Manager II in the Flood Insurance Quality Control team, you ensure commercial loan activities comply with flood insurance requirements, partnering with operations and compliance teams to remediate issues and strengthen controls.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret complex documents and insurance policies for compliance.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong working knowledge of FDPA requirements and Interagency Flood Insurance Q&As.
  • Experience in risks and controls, compliance, regulatory, or quality oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control reviews to confirm adherence to flood insurance policy and FDPA requirements across loan originations and servicing.
  • Verify flood zone determinations and property location accuracy for Special Flood Hazard Areas.
  • Validate insurance coverage, deductibles, and insurer eligibility meet policy and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure borrower communications and disclosures are accurate, timely, and retained per policy and audit standards.
  • Deliver accurate compliance reviews under time constraints, prioritizing cases based on business impact and risk.
  • Manage throughput to achieve daily SLAs and production targets during peak volumes.
  • Flex across processes and cross-train to support shifting business priorities.
  • Use standardized checklists and procedures to maintain completeness and reduce rework.
  • Execute time-boxed QC reviews and produce audit-grade workpapers, escalating issues as needed.
