Ready to be the guardian of precision? We are looking for a high-impact Quality Control (QC) Manager to lead the charge in manufacturing excellence! In this role, you aren’t just checking boxes, you are the final line of defense, ensuring that high-performance centrifuge components meet elite design standards from the very first prototype to the final shipment. Why This Role Matters Ultimate Quality Ownership: You oversee the entire lifecycle of manufactured components, ensuring every part is flawless before it ever reaches a customer. Strategic Leadership: You will lead, mentor, and inspire a dedicated team of QC professionals, driving the development of world-class inspection and quality control plans. Cross-Functional Impact: As a key bridge between design and delivery, you’ll collaborate directly with Manufacturing Management to hit deadlines without ever compromising on precision. Mission Critical: Your expertise ensures that complex centrifuge systems operate with absolute reliability in the field. What You’ll Do Execute & Innovate: Develop and implement rigorous inspection strategies that catch deviations before they become problems. Lead the Team: Manage a high-performing staff responsible for executing the quality roadmap. Synchronize Operations: Coordinate with production teams to ensure design drawings and documentation are followed to the letter, keeping projects on track and on time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physical Sciences or equivalent technical experience.
  • Four years of Management experience in QC/QA; engineering and technical support; or high-volume manufacturing, which may be concurrent with the nuclear experience
  • Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ANSI Y14.5
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint to generate reports, charts, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • This position will require a pre­-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.
  • This position requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance. Candidates for positions requiring a security clearance are required to be tested for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR 707.4 prior to an offer of employment being made. In addition, once employe, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a Q security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government. Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
