Job Description 2nd Shift Position We are seeking a Quality Control Supervisor with previous quality control experience in the food industry. This position consists of testing and sampling all products and ensuring that we are producing a safe, great tasting, quality product that meets our specifications.

Requirements

B.S. Degree in Food Science or other related science discipline
Three or more years of supervisory experience
Strong leadership and troubleshooting skills
Previous QC Experience
Knowledge of GMP's, SSOP's and HAACP (HAACP Certification a plus)
Must be available to work flexible hours

Nice To Haves

Experience in a food production facility a plus
HAACP Certification a plus

Responsibilities

Facilitate HACCP compliance.
Oversee product sampling and analysis process.
Participate in microbiological control program.
Ensure all products meet quality and safety specifications via product testing.
Calculate adjustments to batches and alter batches to meet specs.
Participate in quality and sanitation programs.
Conduct environmental monitoring and implement corrective actions.
Supervise three lab techs, product compounding, and pasteurization. This is a hands-on position requiring the learning, operating, and problem solving in these areas.
Work closely with other departments to facilitate production output and quality.
Assist in production supervision as needed.
Facilitate regulatory compliance.
