You’ll supervise a team of QC inspectors responsible for inspections and tests at our Piketon site and supplier facilities, ensuring full compliance with NRC, DOE, and QAPD standards. You’ll assign inspection activities, support audits and assessments, and serve as a technical authority in Nondestructive Testing (NDT). Whether training staff, interfacing with regulators, or reviewing QC procedures, you’ll be the steady hand guiding quality control in fast-paced construction and operations environments. Your leadership will ensure critical work is done right the first time—and every time.

Requirements

• An associate degree in a related field or equivalent supervisory and QC experience
• 4+ years of QC experience in nuclear, industrial, or construction settings
• Certification in two or more of the following areas: Receiving, Dimensional, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Inspection Visual Weld Inspection (AWS CWI preferred) Leak Testing (Helium preferred) Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Radiographic, or Ultrasonic Inspection
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and QA/QC documentation systems
• The ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” level security clearance

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical field
• American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications
• Lead NQA-1 Auditor Certification
• Previous experience at an NRC-regulated site
• Military or defense nuclear experience
• Familiarity with NQA-1 and DOE O 414.1D requirements
• An active “Q” level security clearance
