About The Position

Antone’s is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Tech to support food safety and quality standards at our Production Facility. This role ensures that all products produced meet Antone’s quality standards, regulatory requirements, and food safety protocols before distribution to our restaurants and retail partners. The Quality Control Tech will monitor production processes, inspect raw materials and finished products, verify labeling and packaging accuracy, and support compliance with HACCP, GMP, and sanitation standards. This role is critical in protecting the quality and reputation of the Antone’s brand.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food production, food safety, or quality control preferred
  • Knowledge of HACCP and GMP practices strongly preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Basic computer skills for quality tracking and reporting
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Must be able to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking production team members regarding food safety, quality standards, and corrective actions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work in cold and refrigerated environments
  • Ability to follow sanitation and PPE requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Food Safety Certification / Food Handler Certification
  • HACCP Certification (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine quality checks on products during production and packaging.
  • Verify product weight, labeling accuracy, packaging integrity, and expiration dates.
  • Inspect ingredients and finished products for quality, freshness, and consistency.
  • Ensure products meet Antone’s internal quality standards before shipment.
  • Monitor adherence to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) procedures.
  • Ensure employees follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) including hygiene, food handling, and sanitation requirements.
  • Monitor temperature controls for refrigerated products.
  • Document quality checks and food safety records as required.
  • Work closely with production teams to identify and correct quality issues.
  • Stop or escalate production concerns when product quality or food safety is at risk.
  • Assist with root cause investigation and corrective actions when issues arise.
  • Maintain quality inspection logs and compliance documentation.
  • Record non-conformance issues and report them to management.
  • Support internal audits and regulatory inspections.
