About The Position

Quality Control Technician II is responsible for verifying incoming materials and finished products are properly manufactured by meeting the requirements of internal and customer specifications. In addition, QC Tech II is expected to be technically knowledgeable regarding plant processes and procedures to provide oversight and technical support for operations. Verify incoming and finished product conformance to internal company standards and customer specifications per company procedures including: Verification of Food Safety and Quality processes (SOP's, SSOP's, GMPs) Daily Sanitation Verification (Allergen & ATP swab results) Weight Verification Foreign Material Control-Metal Detection/Glass & Brittle Plastics Label Verification Hold implementation. Pest control support Process and Temperature monitoring Others job responsibilities including but are not limited to: Daily time on the production floor doing Quality Checks. Leading our Kosher Program Leading our RSPO program Customer Documentation Requests Daily QC Technician support on production floor Customer documentation requests through customer portals Support regulatory, certification, and customer audits. Sample collection (Lab testing, retention samples). Understanding the business, the needs of the organization, and supporting business initiatives.
