About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector for a machine shop in Joplin. The Quality Control role ensures all manufactured products meet strict quality, safety, and compliance standards, including ISO and AS9000 requirements. This Quality Control position offers weekly pay and benefits, with the opportunity to join a company that provides strong long-term benefits and an ESOP program upon permanent hire.
Requirements
- Prior experience in QA/QC within a manufacturing environment required
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and inspection data
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must have experience relevant to this position
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with production teams
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process and final inspections to verify compliance with ISO and AS9000 standards
- Perform quality audits and document findings for continuous improvement
- Use precision measuring instruments including CMMs, calipers, micrometers, and vision systems
- Implement and monitor HACCP protocols where applicable
- Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed quality reports
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and corrective actions
- Support maintenance and improvement of quality systems
