What you’ll do… The Quality Analyst will be a member of the Quality Team, responsible for coordinating quality improvement processes in the production facility. This role will be reporting to the Quality Manager in our production facility in Houston, TX.

Requirements

  • Experience with quality management systems and quality processes in a quality and continuous improvement role.
  • Knowledge of the quality management system concept and the main continuous improvement tools – root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D), PDCA.
  • Experience with document control, quality data capturing and reporting. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking.

  • Physical requirements and working conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate improvement processes - Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective Actions, Material Review Board (MRB) meetings.
  • Assist with documentation– drafting, review and updates of procedures, templates and other documentation.
  • Support key stakeholders with the Document Control process.
  • Support all groups in the production facility with follow-up of identified issues and managing corrective actions.
  • Log in and track quality data, generate performance dashboards.
  • Monitor and update the status of corrective actions and improvement projects.
  • Assist with the planning and performing of internal audits.
  • Assist with preparation and coordination of external audits.
