About The Position

Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking a Quality Documentation Coordinator who is responsible for providing coordination and administrative support to the Quality Manager, R&D, Engineering, Sales, and Production by managing controlled documentation, records, and documentation workflows in support of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. This position is full time – 5/8 schedule (7:30AM-3:30PM) - In Person Only

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, technical, or office environment is helpful but not required; this position is suitable for entry‑level candidates with strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing or office operations and an interest in learning ISO 9001–based quality systems, including document control, records management, and quality documentation processes; training will be provided.
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings, bills of materials, specifications, and work instructions at a basic level, with the willingness to learn how they support production, quality, and documentation requirements.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills, including proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook), attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with Sales, Engineering, R&D, Production, and Quality teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a central point of follow‑through for new product number generation, BOMs, specifications, and document changes to ensure information is complete, current, and available to support sales, manufacturing, and audit readiness.
  • Maintain controlled quality system documentation, including procedures, work instructions, forms, and records, in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
  • Work with the Sales department to support new product number generation, ensuring required documentation and part‑numbering requests are properly initiated, tracked, and completed
  • Interface with Engineering to follow up on the creation and release of bills of materials (BOMs), specifications, and related documentation, ensuring completeness and readiness for production and sales.
  • Execute documentation and support tasks as directed by the R&D Coordinator, ensuring timely follow‑through and alignment with quality, production, and documentation requirements.
  • Support document control activities by processing document changes, managing revision history, distributing controlled documents, and ensuring obsolete documents are removed from use.
  • Work closely with Production to ensure current documentation, BOMs, and specifications are available, accurate, and aligned with manufacturing requirements.
  • Assist the Quality Systems Manager and quality team with audit preparation, documentation tracking, and general coordination activities to improve organization, throughput, and compliance.
