How will you make an impact! As an onsite Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in upholding product and process excellence within a dynamic manufacturing environment. You’ll support core quality systems, drive problem‑solving initiatives, and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with customer expectations and regulatory standards and requirements. In addition, you will own and manage internal quality metrics, providing critical insights to key internal stakeholders to support continuous improvement across the organization. What will you do?

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred or equivalent experience (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
  • 1+ years of experience in quality engineering role, or 3+ years in other quality assurance related roles.
  • Basic understanding of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagrams, SPC, FMEA).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality plans, procedures, and documentation (e.g., control plans, FMEAs, inspection instructions).
  • Assist in the qualification of new products, processes, and equipment from a quality perspective.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for internal and external quality issues.
  • Conduct basic statistical analysis of process data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential issues.
  • Participate in internal audits and support external audit activities to ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g., ISO, customer-specific requirements).
  • Desing and define the in-process, and final product inspections as needed, ensuring adherence to specifications.
  • Communicate quality data and findings to relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Maintain accurate and organized quality records and documentation.
  • Ensure capability studies are performed on critical processes.
  • Perform first article inspection and review visual aids.
  • Perform defect analysis reporting.
  • Perform MRB on sustained products.
  • Participate in CAC meetings – support continuous improvement.
  • Perform line and product audits.
  • Assist Quality Engineering in APQP.
  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
  • Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
  • Present quality data during weekly meetings with customer representatives on site.
