Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is looking to hire to an entry level Quality Analyst in Troy, AL. The selected candidate will support the development of quality plans and procedures in accordance with customer requirements for both make and buy items and ensure the conformance to company and regulatory standards. In addition the selected candidate will also be required to:

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited college
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, review, analyze and report on quality-related data/metrics from production, service, supplier or process improvement activities and analyzes using statistical techniques.
  • Interface as needed with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure process requirements are met.
  • Support the development of disposition and corrective actions for recurring product/process discrepancies for both make and buy items.
  • Review completed assembly, process, test, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical quality records to determine data accuracy, acceptability and completeness.
  • Manage the quality records control process to assure adequate accountability and traceability.
  • Develop and maintain governing procedures related to records control.
  • Support product acceptance and delivery per established process.
