About The Position

As a Quality Inspector / Auditor I for Keel Midwest, you will be responsible for the dimensional and physical inspection and testing to verify that the product and/or processes conform to the customer requirements. On the job training is provided as necessary. This position is consider to be in training towards a Level II Inspector / Auditor

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
One (1) year of experience in a quality-related position preferred.
Basic knowledge of inspection and test equipment.
Familiarity with drawings and blueprints, including GD&T.
Technical math skills including trigonometry.
Knowledge of materials associated with typical products.
Basic knowledge of standard inspector duties such as sampling, sorting, and containment actions.
Ideal candidates will have good verbal and written communication skills, be organized, industrious, and hard-working, and will possess above average problem-solving skills.
Must be able to to adapt to daily changes in priority and take direction from leadership.
A strong desire to increase knowledge and skills in quality and inspection is critical to this role.

Responsibilities

Performs product or process inspection utilizing standardized inspection methods.
Visually and physically check parts against blueprint or work order specifications using precision measuring instruments.
Completes quality packages that conform to customer standards.
