About The Position

The Quality Lab Technician will work with the Quality unit and Production team to assess environmental safety, product shelf life, Potency, as well as create and report data analytics.

Requirements

  • The ability to sit or stand for long periods

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods
  • Willing and able to submit fingerprints for a Level 2 background screening upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic testing on products including but not limited to: consistency, stability, potency, contaminants and efficacy.
  • Ensure timely reports at the request of the Quality unit or Production.
  • Complete on an as-needed or monthly basis, environmental monitoring activities of all production spaces.
  • Input and maintain quality data and analytics.
  • Assist with internal CAPA investigations.
  • Assist with the creation and roll out of standard operating procedures as related to laboratory activities.
  • Prepare materials as needed by production staff in a measured manner ensuring compliance with internal standards or requirements.
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate any laboratory equipment.
  • Work closely with the Quality unit to ensure process improvement and efficacy.
  • Adhere to any specific requirements set forth internally such as but not limited to GMP.
  • Record and track waste in a compliant manner.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lb.
  • Must be comfortable standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
  • In this position you may be exposed to heat, cold, indoor and outdoor conditions, plant material, kief, dust, strong smells, loud noises, or noises for extended periods of time.
