About The Position

As a Quality Management and Methods (QMM) Engineer at Bosch, you will play a key role in ensuring that semiconductor products for automotive applications meet the highest quality and reliability standards. You will drive robust change management processes, support cross‑functional teams, and implement quality methodologies aligned with automotive industry requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Quality Management) or a related technical field.
  • 4+ years of engineering experience, ideally in quality, manufacturing, or process engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, lead, and complete improvement projects.
  • Experience working with database systems, electronic document management tools, and statistical analysis software.
  • Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, SPC, Production Control Plans, and VDA 6.3.
  • Experience with or ability to serve as an FMEA moderator.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ISO/IATF‑compliant QMS, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Hands‑on experience with APIS IQ FMEA software.
  • Background in complex manufacturing environments (e.g., semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, or similarly regulated production).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate Change Management activities within cross‑functional technical teams, ensuring compliance with organizational processes and directives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enable synchronized changes across the Semiconductor Production Network.
  • Complete required training and certification to serve as a PFMEA Moderator, including developing expertise in APIS IQ.
  • Develop and deliver Change Management training programs for relevant departments.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and methodologies for semiconductor products in automotive applications.
  • Support routine audits and inspections to ensure adherence to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other applicable automotive quality standards.
  • Analyze product and process data, perform statistical evaluations, and prepare cross‑functional reaction/response plans (OCAP) when quality risks are identified.
  • Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and supplier teams to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Conduct detailed root cause analyses and drive preventive measures to avoid recurrence of quality issues.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of quality controls, identify gaps, and recommend targeted process or system improvements.
  • Create and maintain quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and records aligned with automotive quality system requirements.
  • Train employees on quality processes, best practices, and automotive regulatory expectations.
  • Support the design and development of new semiconductor products, ensuring quality requirements are embedded early in development.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AEC‑Q100) and apply them to semiconductor quality management.
