Requirements

  • Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Management, Operations, Engineering or Supporting Compliance within Aviation, Aerospace, Automotive, Defense or other regulated industry; OR Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate’s degree and 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)
  • Supplier Quality Management, QMS and Lead Auditor experience
  • AS9100 Lead Auditor Certificate, Six Sigma or advanced Lean Certifications
  • Ability to lead/coach teams through use of RCCA and other Process Improvement tools
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma)
  • Experience delivering presentations to all levels of management for compliance activities/metrics
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization including suppliers and customers

Responsibilities

  • Manages and/or oversees the Quality Management System (QMS), processes, procedures, requirements, contracts and metrics, to ensure the organization’s compliance.
  • Daily interaction with intermediate professionals or team leaders of Technical / Business Support or Production / Maintenance employees.
  • Supports CORE and its initiatives.
  • Prepares and maintains Quality systems (documentation, processes and training).
  • Evaluates the compliance and effectiveness of the QMS of business sites, and programs.
  • Works with other functions to ensure systems are compliant, efficient and can deliver to customer requirements.
  • Audit team members develop, conduct, and support audits including providing feedback on noncompliance and corrective action(s).
  • Determines if all products and processes are aligned with regulatory standards. Compliance covers both the OEM as well as Aftermarket Operations. Includes regulatory compliance (CAAC, FAA, EASA & CAA UK).
