About The Position

The Wind QMS Leader is responsible for establishing, owning, and deploying a simple, effective, and scalable Quality Management System (QMS) across the Wind organization. This role ensures consistent process definition, governance, compliance, and continuous improvement aligned with Wind priorities and GE Vernova quality standards. The role will design the QMS around the Wind value stream, clearly define process ownership and systems of record, drive adoption, and elevate quality maturity through disciplined execution, audits, and targeted improvement actions. Act as the rule book, if followed guarantee that the output from every function will hold highest possible quality standard and satisfy customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of Quality Management Systems, ISO 9001 requirements, and audit expectations
  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • - End-to-end value streams
  • - NPI, issue resolution, and change management processes
  • - Systems of record and process governance

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and embeds a standard, scalable Wind QMS aligned with Wind priorities and GE Vernova quality strategy
  • Directly impacts quality maturity, COPQ reduction, audit performance, and operational consistency
  • Translates enterprise quality objectives into clear, executable processes across the Wind value stream
  • Enables “One Wind” execution by standardizing how work is defined, governed, and improved
  • Identifies systemic quality gaps across processes, interfaces, and execution layers
  • Applies root cause analysis to recurring issues, audit findings, and performance gaps
  • Balances rigor with simplicity—solving problems without adding unnecessary complexity
  • Anticipates risks related to process ownership, compliance, and adoption and implements preventive controls
  • Applies Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement principles to improve quality and execution effectiveness
  • Understands the cost and operational impact of poor quality and uses data to drive decisions
  • Leads through influence rather than authority in a global, matrixed organization
  • Aligns and mobilizes process owners, functional leaders, and teams around common QMS standards
  • Sets clear expectations, reinforces accountability, and drives follow-through
  • Acts as a role model for disciplined execution, continuous improvement, and quality mindset
