Quality Management Systems Project Lead

About the position

Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. This includes pumping peanut butter into jars, oil into cars, gluing shoe soles, applying glass in windows, and spraying finishes on vehicles. The position involves facilitating and evolving Graco's corporate quality management system, supporting systems such as ISO 9001, Customer Complaint/Corrective Action, Document Control, Internal Audits, New Product Development, and QMS Management Review.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ISO 9001 registration for multiple facilities
• Lead QMS internal audit team to identify opportunities for improvement
• Coordinate yearly ISO 9001 audits with registrar and respond to non-conformities or improvement opportunities
• Develop internal QMS audit plans and train internal auditors
• Facilitate QMS management review meetings, gather data inputs and assign meeting action items
• Develop tools and procedures to train engineers on new/improved QMS processes
• Identify and improve the quality and efficiency of QMS processes
• Provide consulting/training to employees on improvement tools/processes
• Facilitate QMS Management Reviews to identify potential areas for improvement
• Assist with improving/updating QMS workflow such as CARs, Stock Check/Ship Hold

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience working with a QMS system in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent technical/statistical aptitude
• Literate in computer software, Excel, Word
• Travel approximately 5% of the time
