About The Position

Audubon is currently seeking a Quality Manager to join our team in our Houston, TX Energy Corridor Office. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist Construction Managers with verifying the implementation and operation of the quality assurance and control systems expected from the EPC Contractor as follows: Planning and conducting quality audits and inspection activities on the EPC Contractor at the office and site offices. Verifying that the EPC Contractor’s quality policy, is fully understood, implemented, operated and maintained. Ensure that all contractual /company and local authority requirements for Quality, Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) requirements are in compliance. Ensure Customer Satisfactions are monitored / measured and improvement / corrective actions are implemented for weak areas. Ensure that all non-conformance issues are promptly investigated, corrective and preventive actions are reviewed and implemented with quick close out. Ensure that all contractor quality systems and plans are acceptable to the client as applicable to the “Project Contract”. Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities: All employees are responsible for supporting Audubon Companies’ Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. This includes: Performing duties in a manner that protects personal and team health and safety Participating in required HSE training, meetings, and reporting activities Identifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions Following safe work practices and complying with applicable regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Excellent speaking, writing, communication and organizational skills.
  • Computer literate and familiar with MS Office® software; SharePoint experience a plus.
  • 20 years’ experience in engineering company or related environment including 5 years’ project management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or one of the sciences preferred, but not required.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
  • Prior technical writing and/or project leadership experience a plus.
  • SharePoint experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Managers to set up, monitor, and maintain the project execution tools.
  • Plan & conduct contractor inspection activities and reviews of contractor work.
  • Conduct quality audit on projects to ensure compliance with client standards.
  • Preparing non-compliance document with inspection report periodically.
  • Review contractor test plans according to project requirements.
  • Attend all meeting with client and contractor concerning Quality Control / Quality Assurance.
