Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years of QA‑related experience (Lab Analyst, Batch Log Auditor, etc.)
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards for infant formula and nutritionals.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing batch processes.
  • Experience with AS400 word processing preferred.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and management information systems.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years as a Document Coordinator preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage document change control for Work Orders, procedures, Job Aids, and other QA‑controlled documents.
  • Ensure all quality documents, formulations, and packaging/ingredient specifications are accurate and available before production.
  • Perform LIMS test mapping and support minor POMsnet recipe updates.
  • Create, update, and maintain quality documents, manuals, deviations, and procedures, including AS/400 Work Orders.
  • Coordinate labeling and packaging material changes with correct formulations.
  • Support QA change control activities and collaborate with Plant and Division teams.
  • Lead document reviews, resolve cross‑functional discrepancies, and support new products/projects affecting Quality Systems.
  • Assist with deviation scheduling, implementation, coordination, and closure.
  • Provide Work Orders for engineering studies, replicates, and clinical projects.
  • Serve as backup to Document Coordinators and perform additional duties as assigned.
  • You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
