This Position reports to: IPU Manager Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory) In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist the Quality team in implementing and maintaining a quality system, including conducting audits, establishing controls, training on tools and methodologies. Each day, you will support activities related to quality management within the organizational unit. You will also showcase your expertise by reporting quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and customer cases and maintaining process documentation. The work model for the role is: onsite You will be mainly accountable for:

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Be able to use the basic hardware tools (screw drivers, spaners, measuring tape, crimpers, cutters, etc)
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably experience in manufacturing jobs.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting quality issues data, ensuring adherence to quality management system at all stages.
  • Acquiring and reporting quality metrics and KPIs accurately and in a timely manner to facilitate the analysis and management of local processes.
  • Utilizing measurement systems to produce data that reflect the accurate characteristics of materials, products, systems, and processes.
  • Training local operational teams on relevant elements of quality management, supporting implementation, and promoting opportunities for improvement.
