About The Position

The Quality Technician supports the Quality Management System (QMS) with a strong focus on ISO 9001 requirements. This role ensures product and process conformity through inspection, documentation control, environmental monitoring, and non‑conforming material management. The Quality Technician also develops and maintains product specifications and Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and compliant manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
  • Familiarity with single‑use systems, sterile fluid paths, and life science manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving capability, and documentation accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in quality, laboratory, inspection, or manufacturing roles.
  • Proficiency in data entry, documentation, and use of basic measurement tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cleanrooms or controlled environments beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Create, revise, and maintain product specifications and quality criteria in alignment with ISO 9001 documentation control requirements.
  • Generate, review, and archive Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) for product release.
  • Perform inspections of components, assemblies, and finished goods in accordance with documented procedures, drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct environmental monitoring (viable and non-viable particulates) within cleanroom and controlled environments.
  • Document, track, and manage non‑conforming materials using established discrepant material control procedures.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities.
  • Ensure proper document control, including verification of revision levels and compliance with QMS requirements.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure processes follow documented work instructions and meet quality standards.
  • Participate in internal audits, process audits, and readiness activities to maintain ISO 9001 certification.
  • Assist in continuous improvement activities including risk reduction, process capability enhancement, and waste elimination.
