Requirements

  • Wear appropriate PPE
  • Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in factory environment with large range in temperature changes
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend / stoop up to 12 hours daily
  • Ability to push / pull up to 12 hours daily
  • Ability to make repetitive movement (shoveling / sweeping / fastening) up to 12 hours daily
  • Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Dependable & punctual
  • Travel less than 10%
  • Three years of verifiable work experience, preferred in manufacturing environment
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math
  • Trained into API Q1 and ISO 9001
  • Ability to accurately use scales, OD tape, ruler, thread height gauge, and other inspection equipment
  • Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures
  • Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations

Responsibilities

  • Understanding of quality concepts in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and similar equipment
  • Inspect, reject or accept product according to visual standard, weight, tally and other Q.C. requirements
  • Documentation and recordkeeping
  • Control the removal of monogram from non-conforming product
  • Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
