Quality Technician (ESD Compliance Focused)

Responsible for ensuring Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) compliance across the manufacturing environment while supporting Quality Engineering and inspection activities.
Requirements
- Understanding of ESD standards and audit practices preferred
- Ability to read technical documents and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and multitasking ability
- Proficiency in MS Office; ERP/SharePoint a plus
- High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred
- 2+ years manufacturing or quality experience preferred
- Experience in ESD-controlled environments strongly preferred
Nice To Haves
- PCB or cable assembly experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain ESD-controlled workstations and production areas
- Perform scheduled compliance audits and record test data
- Monitor ESD equipment, calibration, and labeling
- Identify risks, report findings, and support corrective actions
- Maintain ESD logs, documentation, and certification records
- Promote ESD awareness and best practices on the production floor
- Support receiving, in-process, and final inspections
- Assist with inspection plans and work instructions
- Help define inspection criteria for PCB and electro-mechanical assemblies
- Participate in nonconformance review and investigations
- Compile inspection/test data and maintain quality records
- Support QMS and quality engineering initiatives
