About The Position

The Quality Training Supervisor reports to the FSQ Director and is responsible for the company’s training and supervising of the in-plant quality technicians and other duties as assigned. Must bring experience with training and knowledge of food manufacturing quality requirements. Functions throughout the company’s several operating plants.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with training.
• Strong knowledge of quality for manufacturing.
• Professional communication skills are essential.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
• Proficient computer skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills and communication at all personnel levels.
• Able to prioritize and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all quality training. Ensures all rules, regulations, and expectations for quality are understood and followed.
• Manages training process, including all documentation.
• Supervises all FSQ technicians.
• Ensures all customer requirements are met in terms of sampling.
• Submits weekly reports to the management team.
• Coordinates and organizes all training activities.
• Authors training presentations.
• Tracks all training in a training matrix.
• Present training materials during 3rd party audits.
• Establishes trending for plant failures due to training.
• Meets regularly with FSQ Director to review activities and results.
• Responds to requests from plants and FSQ in a timely and quality manner.
• Cultivates positive relationships with the production workers, plant leaders, and outside partners.
• Takes an active approach to work safe and meet safety goals established by the company.
