About The Position

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in quantum engineering, specifically in working with cross-functional teams to develop integrated Quantum Design Automation solutions. Responsibilities include translating system-level quantum specifications into circuit simulations (classical and quantum), overseeing layout implementation, and conducting analysis and characterization targeted at superconducting quantum hardware using industry-standard software platforms such as Virtuoso, Spectre, and Clarity. The role requires exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration internally and direct engagement with end-users. While a PhD in quantum engineering or a related field is highly valued, equivalent industry experience is also considered. The candidate should demonstrate strong motivation and a passion for advancing quantum technologies. Familiarity with alternative quantum hardware modalities, including neutral atoms, trapped ions, and photonic systems, is advantageous. The annual salary range for California is $154,000 to $286,000. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
