About The Position

As a Quick Lube Service Advisor, you’ll be assisting customers and internal staff on the Quick Lube needs of the dealership. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating customer vehicles for servicing, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and maximizing departmental profitability. Highly motivated with a competitive edge, you enjoy going the extra mile for your customers, and thrive on being a part of a team.

Requirements

  • Ability to identify the problem quickly
  • Clean & valid Driver's License
  • Knowledge of automobiles
  • Effective analytical and communication skills
  • Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
  • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive, friendly attitude

Responsibilities

  • Train & Oversee Quick Lube Technicians
  • Work Collaboratively with Service & Sales departments
  • Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly
  • Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem
  • Drive the vehicle for testing purposes
  • Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles
  • Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage
  • Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
